I am currently attending New River, pursuing a General Studies Degree. I plan on continuing to a four year university where I will be earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. ACCE has been a great experience in many ways. I have learned much about my community’s history, people, and it’s overall general theme. I have met many people throughout my community. I have had the opportunity to serve many different parts of the community. I have learned general skills that will apply to any career. ACCE is not simply about completing community service hours to receive paid school in return. It is about growing in your understanding of your community, community relationships, community involvement, and workforce preparedness. The general overall theme of ACCE is community. It is about serving your community and being apart of your community.
