Senior Night with Elvis 11/4/2022

Eight ACCE students participated in a Senior Afternoon with Elvis at the Senior Center in Pearisburg. Taking time out of their Friday evening, the students helped the seniors gather their food and drinks and provided popcorn as they watched the new movie, Elvis. The students also distributed raffle tickets, and a few individuals received gifts after the movie. It was great to see the nostalgia on everyone’s face as they sang along and swayed to Elvis Presley’s classic songs; They thoroughly enjoyed the movie, which emphasized the true life story of such a beloved musical artist. By participating in this event, the ACCE students exhibited their respect for the seniors. Many thanks to Gail, Jeff Dinger, and Mike Evans for organizing the event and facilitating its success.
